Dr. John Cannell on the Importance of Vitamin D

Vitamin D is absorbed in the body mainly through sunlight. It can help boost the immune system and help fight many diseases.

Research shows that the reason why more people report getting sick in the winter is possibly because of their lack of exposure to the sun.

Populations living in hotter regions where there is more exposure to sunlight might be at a greater advantage. This is the reason why in places such as North America it is important to get enough Vitamin D to avoid sicknesses that might be caused because of Vitamin D’s deficiency.
